Getting started
Here's how to start using your phone assistant. It only takes a few minutes to set up, and after that, you just call a number.
Create an account and pick a plan
Sign up on the website. You (or a family member) choose a plan. There's a free trial if you want to try it first. Once you're signed up, you'll see your own phone number on the dashboard.
Save the number in your phone
Add the number to your contacts so it's easy to find. Give it a name like "AI Helper" or "Question Line." If you're setting this up for a parent, save it in their phone for them.
Call whenever you have a question
Dial the number from any phone: a cell phone, a landline, or a flip phone. The assistant will answer and greet you. Just say your question out loud, the same way you'd ask a friend.
Listen to the answer
The assistant speaks back to you in a natural voice. Wait for it to finish, then ask another question if you like. You can have a whole conversation. When you're done, just say "goodbye" and hang up.
Check your minutes (optional)
Visit your dashboard on any computer or phone browser to see how many minutes you have left and your call history. A family member can also log in and check for you.
Tips for a great experience
- Speak clearly and at your normal pace. There's no need to rush.
- Wait for the assistant to finish talking before you ask another question.
- Ask one question at a time for the best answers.
- Say "goodbye" when you're done so the call ends cleanly.
- Each call is at least 1 minute. Calls are rounded up to the next whole minute.
- The assistant is great for everyday questions, but always talk to a real doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor for serious matters.
Things you can ask
Here are some ideas to get you started:
"What's the weather like tomorrow?"
"How do I make chicken soup?"
"How many tablespoons are in a cup?"
"What's the capital of Texas?"
"What should I do for a sore throat?"
"Tell me something fun."
