Getting started

Here's how to start using your phone assistant. It only takes a few minutes to set up, and after that, you just call a number.

1

Create an account and pick a plan

Sign up on the website. You (or a family member) choose a plan. There's a free trial if you want to try it first. Once you're signed up, you'll see your own phone number on the dashboard.

2

Save the number in your phone

Add the number to your contacts so it's easy to find. Give it a name like "AI Helper" or "Question Line." If you're setting this up for a parent, save it in their phone for them.

3

Call whenever you have a question

Dial the number from any phone: a cell phone, a landline, or a flip phone. The assistant will answer and greet you. Just say your question out loud, the same way you'd ask a friend.

4

Listen to the answer

The assistant speaks back to you in a natural voice. Wait for it to finish, then ask another question if you like. You can have a whole conversation. When you're done, just say "goodbye" and hang up.

5

Check your minutes (optional)

Visit your dashboard on any computer or phone browser to see how many minutes you have left and your call history. A family member can also log in and check for you.

Tips for a great experience

  • Speak clearly and at your normal pace. There's no need to rush.
  • Wait for the assistant to finish talking before you ask another question.
  • Ask one question at a time for the best answers.
  • Say "goodbye" when you're done so the call ends cleanly.
  • Each call is at least 1 minute. Calls are rounded up to the next whole minute.
  • The assistant is great for everyday questions, but always talk to a real doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor for serious matters.

Things you can ask

Here are some ideas to get you started:

"What's the weather like tomorrow?"

"How do I make chicken soup?"

"How many tablespoons are in a cup?"

"What's the capital of Texas?"

"What should I do for a sore throat?"

"Tell me something fun."
